Cherish Meru was created as part of our ministry to Meru, Kenya managed through University Place Presbyterian Church.

Mama Pat visited Meru in 2003, and upon her return, in conjunction with a team of compassionate hearts in this church, began a ministry to feed and educate the kids of Meru.

Since our first "sponsorship" we have added 125 more. A sponsorship involves coming alongside a needy student to provide basic needs, uniforms and fees so the child can finish school.

We work in partnership with Hope International Ministry Trust, a group of folks in Meru who, among other things, act as the arms and legs of Cherish Ministry.
